After releasing a self-titled album in 2005, Wilderness have released "vessel states in 2006, an album that confirmed their ability to write dark music. Comparisons with 80s bands ( essentially the Cure and Joy Division ), if justified, don't give the band justice. Unlike many current bands, the likeliness isn't in form but in spirit : cold and desperate music which isn't supposed to make you dance...

Don't let his voice, powerful and guttural, often compared to John Lydon, push you away from a rather special band !
