Truck Festival 2008: new headliner announced, special guest confirmed

What's that? That distant rumble... coming nearer? Truck Festival is as good as on our doorstep, and the Oxfordshire two-dayer - supported by DiS no less - has just announced details of another headliner.
Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly is to headline the festival's second (Sunday) night, with a special guest in tow. Said person: Walter Schreifels, Rivals Schools frontman. Together the pair will perform as Blimey & The Governors. Sold.
Let's just hope Get Cape's Sam Duckworth doesn't take his last single review too personally, or else DiS is leaving this year's Truck with a black eye.
Also just in: a limited number of day tickets, 100 per day, for the weekend are available as of now; click here if you're only up for half a Truck this year.

He's supported Get Cape before.
GCWCF is more popular with ver kids than Rival Schools.
Anyway, Shreifels is only playing gigs now since those t-shirt sales dried up three years ago.

obviously it's absurd looking back, but i thought for a second that a side project would be the headline act.
not that i care about headliners, just rival schools and quicksand songs.

It'll be like a 3 hour set with Walter's related songs first and then Get Cape ones later. Whether or not they'll play somewhere else at the festival as well, I don't know

the best thing about Truck
is that it does whatever the fuck it feels like. and this is something that should be celebrated.
