DiS radio is back! (sort of)
We miss our podcast. You miss our podcast - we know this because we keep getting emails about it, bless you. However, sadly, there are far too many legal barriers to do the show and the royalty payments are astronomically constrictive, to say the least. Sorry.
Fear not! Can you hear that? The nice folks at Last.fm recently informed us about their play lists and that they now a mechanism to pay artists, so we thought this might be a good way to share some recent decents with you, at least until the BBC cave in and give us a radio show.
The below fifty tracks are loosely aimed to accompany what's been on the site so far this year (restricted somewhat by which full tracks are available on Last.fm), as well as a few bits of newness. Think of this as less of a radio show and more of a DiS-curated digital cover mount if you like...
[player removed by request, listen to it over at last.fm instead]
We'll be adding a few bits to this in coming weeks. For now, what do you think to this format? Anything on here surprise you? Tracks you love / hate? If you've made your own playlist pop a link to it below. Oh, and if you are on Last.fm, join our group.

good idea to DiS could do with more music coming out of it.

Excellent.
Thanks.
-
i listened to all of it
that took some determination.

Listening to it now
it's very good, although I'm awaiting the inevitable crashing of the browser.
-
some great stuff on here
just the last two, phosphorescent and then glass candy, some vital songs like health -crimewave as well.

Can you post a link to the old DiS Radio pages?
I've never successfully found them all and I now realise I have a bunch of podcasts and bugger all idea what the tracklisting is on each of them. You used to have the special 'Radio' section where I could easily have tracked them down...
