Biffy Clyro announce December dates

Biffy Clyro have announced a six-date headline tour of the UK and Ireland.
The dates - tickets for which are on sale on August 8 - should see the three-piece playing new material, including their forthcoming single 'Mountains'. Get your hands on it on August 25.

It is a crap venue and i think Biffy would agree. They would rather use Barrowlands but they can't.
I think they needed to use the SECC as they are going to try something bigger than usual ie with an orchestra and lights and stuff. Something Barrowlands couldn't fit.
Plus its only hall 3 they are using its not the full SECC.

ridiculously good at Glastonbury. Possibly the best thing I saw all weekend, and I didn't used to be a fan.

the sound is by far the worst out of any of the halls.
It's just a vacuous, empty space that isn't intended for live performances and i've never, ever seen any band play it well (perhaps bar Rammstein, but the pyrotechnics probably assisted substantially in that exception).

For Brixton Academy, just purchased. My grin yet to subside. Whether you like the new stuff or not, live Biffy Clyro is better than pretty much anyone, until the 'Gwai tour their new album.
