Posted:
NYC space rock brigade Secret Machines return following 2006’s Ten Silver Drops with a self-titled release on October 13 through TSM Recordings.
The record will be the first since Benjamin Curtis was replaced by Phil Karnats. Other than that there’s little more information on the release other than this here tracklisting:
‘Atomic Heels’
‘Last Believer, Drop Dead’
‘Have I Run Out’
‘Underneath the Concrete’
‘Now You're Gone’
‘The Walls Are Starting to Crack’
‘I Never Thought to Ask’
‘The Fire Is Waiting’

great news
Both their albums have been excellent. Looking forward to this one very much.

Josh Garza
is the greatest, currently drumming, drummer. Am quite looking forward to this...

Hella excited about this
8 tracks again, just like Ten Silver Drops. Hmmmmm.
It'll be interesting to see how this measures up to Alpinisms, the School Of Seven Bells' album, out in November.

Woohoo!
Ridiculously pretentious song titles as always, they wouldn't be the same without them.
Seems like forever since Ten Silver Drops, very much looking forward to this.

Oooo
looking forward to this. Was wondering about a new album from them the other day.
-
Strangely enough
was thinking about them this morning. Looking forward to this...

Also really looking forward to SOSB.

good news
but are any of the songs going to be anywhere near as good as Nowhere Again?
-
yaaayy!
i have nothing else to say

He is an amazing drummer
which makes the decision to have the drums so weak in the mix on 'Ten Silver Drops' all the more baffling. I've said it before but the E.P and Now here is nowhere are excellent, but I could only stomach two plays of Ten Silver Drops- discounting Alone, Jealous and stoned
