Frightened Rabbit hop around the UK

Acclaimed Scot-rockers Frightened Rabbit begin a tour next month. You, if a fan of their latest LP The Midnight Organ Fight (9/10 review), should pop along to a date or two.
If you're yet to be won over by the band's charms, use their next single as a starting point - 'I Feel Better/The Twist' is released via FatCat on September 22. Alternatively, listen on MySpace.

My god I sound like an old man. But seriously, it's difficult to determine what's going on in the song. But oh how I love thee.

But their drummer's the second loudest thing I've ever heard (the first being the noise coming out of Shield's amps during You Made Me Realise...), which when you're seeing them in a cramped basement and you're at the front does leave you feeling slightly dazed afterwards. Even HEALTH'S drummer didn't have to keep re-assembling his kit after every song...

I'm going to the Arches gig
We were Promised Jetpacks are supporting them on this tour so if you are going, make sure you catch them too cause they're one of the best local acts about Glasgow.

this is going to be the best gig on the tour. first proper glasgow gig since they tore the roof off the tent at t in the park. definitely going to be a sell-out.
