Chiefs to top bill at booze-sponsored Irish festival
Posted:
Leeds' finest success story of 2005, Kaiser Chiefs, are to headline next year's Heineken Green Energy festival in Dublin.
The band will appear alongside a number of established acts, including Ian Brown, Snow Patrol and Graham Coxon. Last year's performers included the Black Eyed Peas and Faithless. No real need to say, then, that 2006's bill looks a little better. Whoops.
The festival, in its eleventh year, takes place at Dublin Castle over the bank holiday weekend in April, Friday to Sunday. Tickets go on sale later this week.

Takes place
at THE Dublin Castle?
-
yep...
the REAL dublin castle... in dublin... not camden... although it's not really a castle as such, it's more like a kind of pretty old building where you can walk over the foundations of the old castle... i think. this is harking back to a primary school field trip...

oh... i remember...
its opposite the eddie rockets burger place... kind like an eds easy diner without the rollerskating delivery...
-
it's
exactly the same as Eds! well, the same chain with a slightly different name. for some reason i am under the impression that in america it might be called johnny rockets or something? i'm not too sure. brilliant to get chips in when you're pissed... but maybe not as good as abraKEBABra...
