Music taste: contemporary classical (Gavin Bryars, Mark Anthony Turnage, George Benjamin, Andrew Keeling, Jonathan Harvey, Ligeti etc.), minimalism (Reich to Part etc.), jazz (Eric Dolphy, Ornette Coleman, John Coltrane, John McLaughlin, Bill Evans), the Levellers, early Pink Floyd (ie with Syd), Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Japanese electronica, Godspeed and various spin-offs (Set Fire to Flames is my favourite), The Fiery Furnaces, Jeffrey Lewis, Syd Barrett, The Shalabi Effect, Yoko Ono, Andrew Horobin, The Flaming Lips, the Clash etc. etc. etc.
