*guessed
really.
still didn't have enough sleep. yesterday i had problem's with whole sentences. today it's spelling simple words.
arh well!
think maybe
it was just the heroin. it was "new" and they didn't know how much to take. consequently there were many an od-ed junkie cluttering the place up. but it was "toolbox" and "ugly bird" importing. i probably should have guest that.
ooo!
and who/what was killing "the junkies"?
i fell asleep
during last night's episodes. what happened?
like the idea of no-of-bastards sweepstake though.
amazon.co.uk ....
wow! they have hundred's of those. that might just be an idea.
thanks!
other limitaations on this purchase include
money: budget is max £30
time: his birthday is on sunday and i have to work between now and then.
practicality: how am i supposed to wrap an f1 car?
in cold blood is fabulous too
also
the new york trilogy, paul auster
howards end, e m forster
victoria, knut hamsun
the three best books i've read in the last 12 months.
king lear is good too if you fancy some shakespeare.
i love them
they got me back into being excited about music. the trials of van occupanter is a great album in my top two of last year. they have a very strong sound but i really don't think they all sound the same.
alcohol's
not a drug silly!
this is my usual antidote to very-sadness
but i'm at work. and i'm not feeling sad. just freaked a little.
sadly
anti-drug
yeah!
>>i do have a phone...
don't want to talk to friends about it though
i have enough fresh air in my flat
its blowing a gale in here
that's why i'm freaking out
obviously
if you got it from ticketmaster
surely it should be fine?
i take it you didn't
get your ticket for tonight direct from ticketweb/master?
my tickets had barcodes and holograms.
i'm an ipod addict
currently have a red nano called ruby. if you just want a 1gb player then an ipod shuffle is £55 and is backed up by itunes and all that so very easy to use. only downside is that the shuffle has no screen so might be difficult with your gigs - you would have to know your running ordaer. can get a 2gb nano for 90 quid on amazon but that it nearly double your budget. they are brilliant though.
i do too...
almonds and squares of really good dark chocolate. my mum started me and my brother on this a few months ago and it really works stops you feeling like you might kill the next person who annoys you in the slightest because you're so hungry.
she calls it an en case, its a french thing apparently.
CURZON MAYFAIR
(just to rock the curzon boat)
i love it.
i mean
chunty not devon
^this
i change my answer.
i joined that queue by mistake
wanted to see the sistine chapel, so joined what we thought was the queue. turned out it was the queue to see the pope! everyone else was waving these invitations around but they let us in anyway!
in my hometown
there was
I LUV U CAROL
on the wall of a house for about 15 years.
never knew who Carol was but that graffiti was always there. it was a small part of my childhood driving past it - not all that often a few times a year - but it was always there. until it wasn't one day. they knocked the house down and build new houses instead.
its a whole step up
from metrosexual
windows live
is hotmail. its in beta test at the moment but msn are going to move all hotmail over to windows live mail. apparently its more user friendly. bugger if you can't get on though.
if you are really curious
wait until tomorrow and then you'll be able to listen again:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/jowhiley/
otherwise you may have to just resign yourself to not knowing whether or not bad words were said on radio 1 this morning.
its a choice only you can make.
me!
on friday too!
this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wio4q_9XTiQ
terrible quality video but this always makes me laugh.
i'm giving my car up in about a months time
its a company car so I've had non of the cost implications.
Other than for workI only use it for to get out of London and to go to the supermarket.
If you are not heading out of London that much really don't bother getting one. You can always hire a car if you need one - 50 quid will get you one for a long weekend. - could be cheaper than a few of you taking the train.
a quietish week for me
Tonight: supper at Tamarind on the Mastercard dinner deal.
Tuesday: formally hand my notice in. (my boss was a bit suprised when I rang him this morning to tell him I'm quitting. He wants to meet face-to-face.
Wednesday: /
Thursday: /
Friday: ARCADE FIRE at Brixton
Saturday: Something
Sunday: Listening to Radio 3 Sunday Feature at 9.45pm. Its about Artificial Intelligence and should be very interesting. (Small JAG - my friend Susie came up with the idea and produced it)
Because
18 months is long enough to be in a job you hate.
(That and to have more time enjoying exercise, culture and food obviously)
This evening I shall be
battling with traffic on the M25 heading to my parents for the first time since Christmas.
SATURDAY
Nice bit of exercise (early morning walks in lovely countryside.)
Nice bit of culture (Coriolanus at the RSC.)
Nice bit of food (supper out at a great pub.)
SUNDAY
Nice bit of exercise (early morning walks in lovely countryside.)
Nice bit of culture (the Sunday papers.)
Nice bit of food (Sunday roast with all the trimmings.)
At some point I shall also by writing my letter of resignation. I am quitting my job on Monday.
The Daily Mail
I truly believe the world would be a better place.
2 for Friday 16th
Woo Hoo!
False alarm?
af.net will be down for a bit until the traffic surge subsides. if you're coming here from NME, we don't have a clue about additional UK tickets, call Ticketmaster or the venues
ticketmaster says there are
but there are non available.
yeah it was
and yeah they were.
and when can i get tickets
my impatience is almost stratospheric

i have abandoned all pretence of working.
i really want these tickets!
.net is the fan site
which has all the information about pre-sales and the like.
.com is the bands "pretty" site with poetry and thoughts.
.net is the one that is down at the moment
it stopped working for me
about half an hour ago.
any chance you can let me know when they're up?
:)
the site is now down!
too many people looking at it
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
LAST GOODBYE
Jeff Buckley
Put it on repeat for a couple of days,
alternate between:
singing along feeling like he wrote the song for you,
crying uncontrollably
and drinking white wine.
Works wonders.
acronym
is my word of the day.
I HATE the over use of acronyms.

I'm reading King Lear
A bit over halfway through and am not going to finish before I see Ian McKellen play it on Saturday evening.
It is brilliant - loss of power. love and betrayal. That Shakespeare really was good.
How many hours a week I read depends on number of hours I spend on the tube and how tired I am when I go to bed. beetween five and 10.
